And if you’d like to learn more about our Plant Healthcare process, here’s how we break it down into a few steps:
1) Identify and document all the plants in your yard
Before we can properly identify the problems your plants are facing and how we can accomplish your goals, we first need to document a full list of the plants in your yard. This serves a couple of purposes.
First, it gives us some basic information that will help us identify problems and begin developing a plan for ongoing management. Different types of plants are affected by different pests and diseases and they require different kinds of care to optimize their health. This step gives us a great base to work from.
Second, it provides you with a better understanding of the plants living on your property. That’s extremely useful for knowing how to manage your plants, and it’s also a great thing to know and be able to explain yourself.
2) Determine key problems
After we know what we’re working with, we start to look for risk factors. This involves inspecting your plants, looking for common problems and issues, and analyzing the environment.
Your vision for the landscape will also play into this, as we’ll be able to give you a good sense of what’s possible and what will be required to accomplish your plans.
3) Offer proper solutions and tools to optimize plant health
Of course, identifying the problem is only the first part of the battle. The next stage is deciding on a plan of action. If we identify any serious problems, like a pest infestation, then that will be the first thing to address.
Beyond that, we’ll also implement an ongoing maintenance plan that can include everything from mulching and fertilization to tree injections.
